Upon payment of appropriate fees, the office of motor carrier services shall issue one IRP nonexpiring plate for each power unit to be mounted on the front of the power unit and one nonexpiring trailer plate to be mounted on the rear of the trailer.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 326.14 and 326.17.
