Any person seeking a license from the board shall submit a completed application to the board accompanied by the applicable fee payable by check, money order, or warrant to the Iowa Department of Public Safety. The memo area of the check should read “Electrician Licensing Fees.” The application shall be submitted on the form prescribed by the board, which may be obtained from the board office.
