Section 661.402.103. Date of death.

In the event of the death of a member, the date of death will be considered to be the member’s last day on the payroll for earned compensation or on pension, and the next day following will be the first day for the spouse’s and children’s benefits. The start of benefits shall not be delayed by the payout of any other compensation.
