Section 657.8.32. Individuals qualified to administer.

The board designates the following as qualified individuals to whom a practitioner may delegate the administration of prescription drugs. Any person specifically authorized under pertinent sections of the Iowa Code to administer prescription drugs shall construe nothing in this rule to limit that authority.
1. Persons who have successfully completed a medication administration course.
2. Licensed pharmacists.
