The board may charge a fee and recover costs incurred for the provision of PMP information, including statistical data, except that no fees or costs shall be assessed to a dispenser for reporting to the PMP or to a practitioner for querying the PMP regarding a practitioner’s patient. Any fees or costs assessed by the board shall be considered repayment receipts as defined in Iowa Code section 8.2.
