The board’s decision and order to discipline a licensee, registrant, or permittee, or to revoke or suspend a license to practice pharmacy, a wholesale drug license, a license to operate a pharmacy, a registration to practice as a pharmacist-intern, a pharmacy technician, or a pharmacy support person, or a permit to handle precursor substances, shall remain in force and effect until the appeal is finally determined and disposed of upon its merit unless the board grants a stay of its decision as provided for in rule 657—35.28(17A).
