Records regarding the operation of a pharmacy and the dispensing of prescription products to patients within Iowa shall be maintained by each Internet pharmacy pursuant to the requirements of federal and state laws, rules and regulations. Required pharmacy and inventory records shall be available for inspection and copying by the board or its representative for at least two years from the date of the record or inventory unless a longer retention period is specified for a particular record or inventory.
