Section 641.141.3. Funding limitations.

Grants awarded under this program shall be subject to the guidelines within the contract and the following, including but not limited to:

         141.3(1) Up to 10 percent of the funds generated by this program may be retained by the department for program management.

         141.3(2) Rescinded IAB 12/6/06, effective 11/8/06.

         141.3(3) Following the disbursement of the funds pursuant to subrule 141.3(1), funding may be made available to statewide, regional and local agencies or service programs that are responsible for development, promotion, and implementation of injury prevention and education initiatives for children. To the extent possible, funds shall be awarded and equally distributed to applicants across all geographic areas of the state.

         141.3(4) Expenditures occurring prior to the project period are not eligible for reimbursement.

         141.3(5) Grant awards shall be subject to the availability of funds.
