  • Once the permittee notifies the department pursuant to rule 571—13.18(455A,461A), the department shall inspect the permitted area to ensure that the permittee has complied with the terms of the permit. Such inspection shall occur within 60 days of the department’s receipt of the notice provided pursuant to rule 571—13.18(455A,461A). In the event the department does not provide final inspection within 60 days of the department’s receipt of the notice provided pursuant to rule 571—13.18(455A,461A), the permittee shall be deemed compliant and the permit shall expire. The intent of this inspection is to evaluate compliance with permit conditions and the impacts to the natural resources and the public’s recreational use of the area.
