Section 501.10.8. Reserve peace officers serving more than one agency.

A reserve peace officer who serves more than one Iowa law enforcement agency at the same time must be certified by the Iowa law enforcement academy council to carry weapons for each agency that the reserve officer serves in compliance with Iowa Code section 80D.7. It is not necessary for the officer to complete weapons training for each such agency, but all agencies shall maintain duplicate training records for the officer.
