Section 441.58.43. Need for child care services.

State child care assistance eligibility requirements concerning need for service in rule 441—170.2(237A,239B) shall be held in abeyance for households residing in governor-declared disaster counties during the months of June, July, and August 2008. Households in those counties that previously met the requirement shall be considered to continue to meet the requirement for those three months if the disaster and ensuing recovery temporarily prevent the household from otherwise meeting this requirement.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 237A.13.
