Section 441.162.2. Availability of grants.

In any year in which funds are available for new nursing facility conversion or long-term care services development grants, the department shall issue a request for applications for grants. The amount of money granted shall be contingent upon the funds available. The use of funds appropriated to award grants shall be in compliance with legislation and at the direction of the senior living coordinating unit.
There is no entitlement to any funds available for grants awarded pursuant to this chapter. The department may award grants to the extent funds are available and, within its discretion, to the extent that applications are approved.
