Each CAA shall coordinate its efforts with federal, state and local disaster relief officials to ensure the targeting of resources to populations of greatest need and to avoid duplication of services or activities. Coordination should include, but not be limited to, consultation and planning with Area Aging Agencies, Department of Human Services, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Regional Councils of Government, Salvation Army and American Red Cross.
