This chapter establishes procedures and standards to be followed by soil and water conservation districts and the division of soil conservation and water quality of the department of agriculture and land stewardship, in accordance with the policies of the state soil conservation committee in implementing water protection practices through the water protection fund created in Iowa Code section 161C.4. This account shall be used to establish water protection practices with individual landowners.
