The purpose of the Iowa port authority grant program is to provide support for programs that enhance, foster, aid, provide, or promote transportation, economic development, recreation, governmental operations, culture, or research within the jurisdiction of a port authority pursuant to Iowa Code Supplement chapter 28J.
