Section 21.85.27. Livestock scale.

For purposes of the application of requirements for SR tolerances and minimum graduations, a scale having a nominal capacity of 6,000 pounds or more and used primarily for weighing livestock standing on the scale platform. (An “animal scale” is a scale adapted to weighing single heads of livestock.)
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 215.18.
