  • The person who continues to own or possess a dangerous wild animal must maintain liability insurance coverage in an amount of not less than $100,000, with a deductible of not more than $250, for each occurrence of property damage, bodily injury, or death caused by each dangerous wild animal kept by the person. The contents of the insurance policy must provide for notification to the department if the policy is canceled or reduced.
